Be it a musician or an actress, people often like to keep their unique name in the entertainment world and Aditi Saigal i.e. Dot is no exception to this. Aditi started her career in 2023 in the Netflix film ‘The Archies’ and in this film she played the character of Ethel Muggs.
However, from this film itself he kept his stage name Dot. Regarding naming her Dot, she says – ‘In childhood, my mom (Shena Gamat) and I used to color together in the coloring book. I am a perfectionist so I liked to color within the lines. For example, if there is a flower then the color of its petals had to be pink and the color of the leaf had to be green. She was filling it from within.
Whereas mom used to make dot marks on the edge of the design. So I used to ask her why are you spoiling it, she used to say that a small dot does not bother anyone. It makes things interesting. I like the fact that the dot is small, but important. Taking inspiration from this, I created my stage name Dot Rakh Liya.
Regarding her connection with music, Aditi says that music has always been a part of my life. Both my parents are from creative fields. So there was no pressure on me to become a doctor or engineer like other people. I learned to play the piano in my childhood. He did his graduation from Bangor University.
